Yacht Management

At YachtBoss, we don’t just manage yachts. We build trusted relationships. You get a team that’s reliable, responsive, and easy to work with, showing up consistently and handling every detail as if she were our own. Because anyone can manage a boat, but not everyone does it with care, consistency, and character.
What this covers

What this covers,
and why it matters.

Owning a boat in South Florida is mostly logistics. Someone has to notice the anode is thin, book the diver, meet the mechanic, chase the part, and be there when the detailer arrives. Most owners either do that themselves on weekends they wanted to spend on the water, or they do not do it and the boat quietly declines.

Yacht management is us taking that over. One point of contact, a plan for the vessel, and a written record of what has been done and what is coming.

What we do

It starts with a schedule built around your boat rather than a generic calendar. Servicing, haul outs, anodes, detailing and safety equipment dates are planned against hours and actual usage, so you stop finding out that things were overdue. Against that schedule someone is aboard regularly, running systems and looking for what builds slowly, because most expensive failures were visible weeks earlier as a trend.

When work is needed we arrange the right specialist, prepare the boat, meet them and follow the job through to completion. Each specialist carries out and stands behind their own work, and you get one number to call instead of six.

All of it is written up: what was checked, what was found, what was done, with photographs. It keeps you informed while you are away, and it is worth real money at resale when a buyer asks what has been maintained. The point of the whole arrangement is that fuel, water, cleanliness and systems are ready on the day you want the boat rather than the day after.

Who this suits

Owners who do not live aboard, who travel, who own more than one boat, or who simply bought her to enjoy rather than to project manage. If you are spending weekends coordinating trades instead of running the boat, this is the fix.

Common questions

Do you do all the work yourselves?

Marine electrical and detailing are in house. Everything else goes to specialists we have vetted and use repeatedly, coordinated and supervised by us.

What if something breaks while I am away?

You get told, with photographs and options, before anything is spent. Nothing gets authorised on your behalf without you agreeing to it.

Do I have to commit long term?

No. Most owners start with a systems check to see what condition she is actually in, then decide.
